Grenoble Street Art Fest : First week
The Grenoble Street Art Festival started last week! We are proud to be this year again partner of this festival. We are taking this opportunity to make several time lapses of murals made during it! It was hard for us to make a choice on which artists to showcase, but here we are with our two first videos!
The “turtle” of Veks van Hillik
We have met Veks (www.veksvanhillik.com) again, lots of you liked our time lapse of the giant fox he made last year! It was a pleasure for us to discover more of his poetical and peculiar world!
The “Grenoble Street Art tram”!
The Grenoble Street Art Fest proposed something totally new this year: the total makeover of a tram! Two artists worked during a whole weekend on this tram. It is the dream of any street artist to work in a warehouse on a whole tram for a project of the city! Yet, it was a challenge. Indeed, we had to make a timelapse with less than 3 meters of distance to shoot a 45-meter tram! These 36 hours were physically distressing for the artists as for us. However, we finally made a great job! Here’s the result:
We were present last week at a timelapse workshop which took 2 hours and was led by Chris (http://christongviet.fr). Some interested people came to discover the time lapse technique, how to shoot, the opportunities of motion timelapse and the problem of storage et battery life when it comes to time lapse.
We will share other time lapses in the weeks to come, we have already put a sneak peek of Monkey Bird on Instagram but that’s not all we have! We are keeping the secret a little more but we are sure our incoming time lapses will amaze you!
